Surveyed Vessels
A surveyed vessel is one which has been inspected by the appropriate
marine authority as to the construction, safety equipment and purpose
for it's intended use.
All surveyed vessels must carry the Survey Certificate on board and a
suitably qualified person must be in charge. This person must hold, and
be able to produce a correctly endorsed Certificate of Competency. The
minimum requirement for a vessel to 12m is Coxswain.
Only if the above are observed, can the operator request reward for his
services.
