Blue Water Charter

is a 6.2m Kevlacat built to strict USL survey standards for charter work and is a member of the Surveyed Charter Boat Owners & Operators Assoc. of SA inc. It is powered by two 140 hp Yamaha outboards and cruises at 20 knots. Enough fuel is carried for a ten hours. It is Adelaide's premiere dedicated off-shore dive charter boat capable of carrying up to 9 scuba divers throughout:
St. Vincent & Spencer Gulf as well as Backstairs Passage and Investigator Strait.

I use the Lowrance Global Map 2000, combined with a Lowrance GPS head and
a C-MAP cartridge to give me accurate navigation.

For viewing the depths of the ocean, a Sea Max colour echo sounder by MarineTek is used. This is coupled to the Lowrance Global Map 2000 to enable a backup plotter and waypoint library.
